Welcome to Big’s Paws with a Purpose Portraits. By accessing this website, placing an order, or commissioning artwork, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using this website or purchasing services.
Custom Commissioned Artwork
All artwork created through Big’s Paws with a Purpose Portraits is custom commissioned artwork designed specifically for each individual client. Because every piece is personalized and handcrafted, no two commissions will be identical.
Reference photographs submitted by clients should be clear and high quality whenever possible to assist in the artistic process.
Pricing & Quotes
Commission pricing begins at $1,000 and may increase depending on:

Custom quotes are provided prior to beginning the artwork process.
Deposits & Payments
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required once the commission quote has been approved in order to reserve a place on the artist’s schedule.
Work on the commission will not begin until the required deposit has been received.
The remaining balance, including shipping costs if applicable, must be paid prior to shipment or delivery of the artwork.
Production Timeline
Clients understand that commissioned fine art is an individualized creative process that requires time, precision, and artistic interpretation.
Estimated production time is generally 6–8 weeks, though some commissions may require additional time depending on detail, complexity, workload, or unforeseen circumstances.
Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Artistic Style & Creative Interpretation
By commissioning artwork from Crystal McDaniel, the client acknowledges and agrees that the artist maintains creative discretion and artistic interpretation throughout the creation process.
Each painting is created in the artist’s unique style and vision while incorporating the client’s requested elements and inspiration.
Revisions
Reasonable minor revisions may be discussed during the commission process at the artist’s discretion. Extensive changes, additional subjects, or redesign requests after work has begun may result in additional fees.
Shipping & Delivery
Clients are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Big’s Paws with a Purpose Portraits is not responsible for delays, lost shipments, or damages caused by shipping carriers or incorrect information provided by the client.

Intellectual Property & Copyright
All artwork, website content, designs, images, branding, and creative materials remain the intellectual property of Crystal McDaniel and Big’s Paws with a Purpose Portraits unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The artist retains the right to display commissioned artwork images for portfolio, promotional, website, social media, or marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing by the client.
Artwork may not be reproduced, resold, copied, distributed, or used commercially without written permission from the artist.
Certificate of Authenticity
All original commissioned artwork includes the artist’s signature and a Certificate of Authenticity verifying the originality of the piece.
Limitation of Liability
Big’s Paws with a Purpose Portraits shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of this website, commissioned artwork, or shipping services.
Website Use
Users agree not to misuse, reproduce, hack, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to this website or its content.
Changes to Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically without prior notice. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
